Making a Difference Awards 2010

Local Government Yorkshire and the Humber have launched the 2010 Making a Difference Awards.

Entries are invited from Local Authorities, Police and Fire Services for a number of categories including: *Outstanding contribution to strong and harmonious communities; *Outstanding achievement in collaborative and partnership working;

*Outstanding contribution to skills or workforce development; *Outstanding contribution to improvements in outcomes for an area; and, *Outstanding responses to the economic downturn

The closing date for submissions is 31st August 2010, and the Award Ceremony will take place in Rotherham on 25th November 2010.
